About Eric
Eric Reeves, founder of Reeves Construction Group, brings a wealth of experience and education to the New Orleans construction scene. A native of Charleston, SC, Eric graduated from Clemson University in 2003 with a degree in Construction Science and Management. His career journey took him from Atlanta to Charleston, where he met his wife, Amanda, a New Orleans native.
Eric’s commitment to professional growth led him to earn an MBA from The Citadel in 2010 while working for a large Washington DC-based General Contractor. After relocating to New Orleans with Amanda, Eric spent seven years managing large commercial projects in the region before founding Reeves Construction Group in 2020. His diverse experience in multifamily and commercial construction, coupled with his business acumen, forms the foundation of the company’s success.
Outside of work, Eric is a devoted family man, residing in Lake Vista with Amanda and their three children: Mae, Henry, and Mary. He balances his professional responsibilities with an active family life, staying involved in his children’s school activities at Sacred Heart and St. Pius X. Eric finds joy in maintaining connections with friends and family, supporting his kids’ sports endeavors, and embracing the coastal lifestyle, whether it’s boating, poolside relaxation, or beach outings.
